We cannot emphasize enough the benefits of breathing fully and deeply to support our overall well-being. Stored tension hinders our breath and encourages stress, but relaxation releases our breath and encourages peace. We engage the relaxation response with breath awareness and breathing exercises.
Mind, Body & Spirit Connection
God created us having body, mind and spirit. Becoming aware of this connection allows us to nurture our entire being. We do this with compassion and clarity. Opening our hearts to God, to ourselves and to one another sets in motion renewal as we draw closer to our Savior.
We become aware of where we hold unnecessary tension. We search for areas of tightness and habitually contracted muscles that cause weakness instead of strength. We also search our minds and survey how our beliefs and actions align with Truth. These areas are addressed and calmed.
